Minecraft Texture Packs

Texture packs on minecraft - I've searched several times for Mario-themed texture packs and haven't found any that are all of the following Minecraft Texture Packs:


* Consistent to a single Mario game
* Kept up-to-date with Minecraft updates
* As honest to the game's textures as my standards require :rolleyes:

Texture packs in minecraft - I've taken it upon myself to compile a texture pack that meets these requirements and figured that now is a good time, what with the end of Beta coming up soon. A few of the basics are copy-paste compatible to some extent with the texture files (SMW is a brilliant choice because it has 16x16 graphics!) and quite a few more work well with only minor edits.

Texture packs for minecraft - Lend me your support if you think it's a good idea, and please please PLEASE give me any ideas for what I should use for textures, especially for mobs. I haven't dedicated any time to them yet, but I'm thinking a Yoshi for a creeper and a koopa for a chicken.

Anything that doesn't look fabulously blocky hasn't been added yet. Admire especially the birch and oak bark, which I had to create myself.

Texture packs in minecraft - This is my new texture pack called Basic Craft.It is currently on version 1 (the very first version).This texture pack was designed this way so the player can a different fell to minecraft and not have to struggle on learning what the items are.It also was designed so that It doesn't hurt the players eyes. Minecraft Texture Packs - I have also added pictures so you can have a sneak peak at the texture pack.

INSTALLATION Texture packs for minecraft:
1) download the zip. file- HERE
2) select the file Basic Craft V1.zip
3)go to your name and open library/application support/minecraft For MAC computers.Windows you type in %appdata% in the start thing. Im not sure how it works for windows.
4)you should see a file called texture packs,drag Basic Craft V1.zip into that file.
5)run minecraft
6)click on mods and texture packs and select Basic Craft V1.
7)enjoy Minecraft texture packs hd!

Until I get around to finishing my texturepack, to cover the parts I haven't done yet. I used Misa's texturepack as my placeholder images, because Misa's is awesome, and sets the bar for where I want my texturepack to eventually be.
